Need more time for the roofing tar to cure, huh? Maybe you can speed up the process using a hair dryer. Absolutely j/k of course. Might be cool, if you want, to start your own thread on what you are doing for that 71. Ain't a whole lotta people out there who can do what you are doing.

Even fewer WANT to do what I am doing... I have started some threads, but other projects have kept me busier.. Gonna get more done and also do some cougar stuff.. Cool data on the plate.. So is it gonna be a 100 point numbers matching bias ply red line chalk mark resto now? lol...

Yeah, I hear you on that. Before I got the Cougar I looked locally at a 1947 Cadillac Series 62. It was a 4-door car, but even so, right out of the box it was a really cool looking car. Someone had already swapped in a cadillac 472, but the guys who were selling the car wouldn't even let me attempt to start it, so I assume it was just a big paperweight. It was gone probably a little further than the mustang, so even though I liked the car, I didn't bother. Finding parts for that car would have been a nightmare, to use a familiar term.

I keep telling people if I ever win megamillions I will buy an old horse farm and get about a dozen old project cars to work on. And within a month I would probably be paying somebody else to fix them up.
