The stripes were a guide to follow the track.
Very true VF, but I was trying to make a point to this kid that the body dress up crap does not add one bit of power to a Mustang, therefore it is Rice. I just guess I am about the only one on this forum who believes that adding anything to a classic Mustang must produce performance results, and not looks only results. Those lower body stripes and crap have absolutely nothing to do with performance.
when did i ever say "body dress up crap" adds even the smallest bit of power? i think your point is sort-of without a base....i never argued it made more horsepower nor did i ever deny it was 100% for looks. I think soaring just thinks it looks damn cool on stangs but dosent want to admit it fully because it would go against all his purist mustang beliefs....

do i smell an amendent to the law of Soaring's All-Natural Mustang Bible? hahahahaha

sorry i just got back from a jazz/blues concert in SF so im gona go start trying to put these little buggers on right now...pics later hopefully....i love how they didnt include reccomended mounting spots or hardware.....oh well. hopefully i have some hardware in the garage somewhere.....

Nah, I'm not the only one who feels like body dress up kits are not money well spent. It adds zero functionality to the car, but it does indeed change the way the car looks. If that is your only objective, then I will get a flight to San Francisco and help you attach those puppies. BTW, how was the concert? I live near Austin, so about the only concerts we get to hear here is ***** Nelson. Did you hear on the news that the cops stopped his tour bus a few nights ago, and the mary jane smell in his bus was so strong they had to arrest him?

haha it was actually really good.....the food was damn good too...a lot of southern food...really good bbq etc...the music was real good too. i didnt hear ***** got busted...thats no good....

there really wasnt anyone toking up at this one....at least i didnt smell it. when i went to the rolling stones or the who here...whooooo....that was a little different.....haha...the smoke cloud prob looked close to what the smoke from the fires of the 1906 earthquake looked like....ok not quite but u get the picture.

my main objective right now is doing everything i have to do before i get it painted...after paint i can actually drive it daily and not worry about rain and such because it will be all sealed up....then engine work will be next...or rack and pinion......or T5 swap...its hard to decide....
