that was the most aggravating experience(everyone else complains about there rear spring removal not me i hate the windsheild) ever i used crab trap line(work very well and doesnt scratch the paint) between that and using the nasty 3m bedding and glazing compound

i knew what i was doing but it was a real aggravation i think it was mainly the combo of reproduction glass and repro rubber? i got the windsheild thru work for 120$
i need a new one now, just havent got round to it
I need to pull out the rear one and redo all the seal somehow. It leaks into the trunk and i'm dreading what I might find under there
you ever done one? what's involved and what parts will i need? Am I likely to break the window getting it out?

just tape up the glass around the edge and cut it with a box cutter along the edges(not under the rubber though) and after u do the pull away the rubber make sure that none of it can hold it still, then gentky push from the inside with someone on the out side to make sure that it doesnt come out unexpectedly. now to reinstall i would recommend new clips 2 tubes of 3m bedding and glazing compound, a new rubber seal and some laquer thinner to clean the glass around the edge and also some crab line to pull the rubber over the lip i got mine from walmart for $ 0.97 its very soft so it will not tear up the paint while u pull the string out also ull need a trim tool to get the clip loose under the trim i got mine from the parts store for about 10$ lay the rubber out in the sun also to help make it flexible while u put it over the glass and also when installing it in the car
