I may sound as if im an impulse buying but im not... I tend to be a saver over spender but when I come across something I feel is the right deal ill do it (if able to). me and my father both have been looking for over 2 years for a classic, we dont want to jump on the first one we see, as of right now I could afford to buy a car cash monthly payments for a loan isnt exactly an option, I had asked my dad to buy it and let me pay it back to him and I just cant drive it untill its payed. But he doesnt seem to want to do that deal.

Sorry to hear that. Since a loan isn't an option, waiting till you have enough saved is the next best option. I think you said that you had $2,300 earlier in the thread. That isn't going to get you a decent Mustang or any other car that I would consider a classic. For that kind of money your looking strictly at project cars. IMO

Hey, that'll buff out. I'm 63 years old and drive my Yeller on long trips without the benefit of a cell phone. I have never had one, and have no plans on getting one.
