Default will 75 f150 390/c6 fit in 67 289 car?

I came across a guy that has a 390 out of a 75 f150 with a c6. Can I fit it in my 67 coupe and what mods do I have to do if I can? Thanks, Dave

the trans should fit in, but yea your driveshaft might need to be shortened a little or even made a little longer

Will it fit? Yes. Here's what it takes to do it:
Big block chassis mounts. You can modify your small block mounts to work with the 390.
You'll need to change the oil filter adapter on that truck motor to a car type.Get the one with enlarged oil passages.
Big block motor mounts and adapter plates. ($$$)
GT type exhaust manifolds. ($$$) Needed to clear shock towers.
GT type heads with the diagonal bolt pattern. Some standard heads can be drilled to convert them for use with GT exhaust manifolds.
Big block specific front sway bar.
Big block radiator and shroud.
C6 trans. cross member.
9" rear. Drive shaft must be cut.
I'm sure I left out some little trinket but this is the bulk of it.

I have an other way to get a 390 out of a Torino. Was wondering how hard would it be to put in a 289 car. Is it worth it?? Thanks

A 390 is a 390 and will have most if not all the same requirements as 69FECoupe listed.
The main question is - what do you have now for an engine and transmission?
Keep in mind that 1967 engine mounts are unique to 67 for small blocks (289)and the big blocks (390) use different mounts that are limited in interchangability.

honestly id sell the engine and trans and build up what you got ford big blocks are pricey for aftermarket parts but ford small blocks are cheaper to build up.id use a chevy big block over a ford mostly since the chevy cheaper to build.
