Default Correct Time Setting

Hello i took the distribuitor out of my car Yesterday and i had some trouble putting it back in im not sure if the time is set right but i want to do it with a Light.

Does anybody knows what is the correct time setting for a 67 Mustang 289 Engine 4bb Carb?

Thanks

Probably calls for 6, but I used to run 10 with no problems.

its for about 6-12 but you cannot be sure because every engine is diff you just gotta feel it and get your vacuum gauge out

the more the better without pinging, 8-10 is a happy place though

*edit* make sure your vacuum is disconnected from the advance and plug the hose so your not having a vacuum leak while trying to set everything

As much as possible without pinging, for all cars, ever!
