Default Where to put the JACK??

I have a 64.5 Stang, where do I jack the car up underneath without damaging anything? Does anyone have any pictures of the best spot to put the jack? Should I put anything like a tennis ball or something on the jack to soften it up? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

For the back end, I always jack the car up by the differential. Right underneath the pig. As for the front, on my fox I raise it by the K-member. I dont hink yo uhave one though. You can use the frame rails, try to get as far forward as possible. Also, they sell a plastic "plate" that you can put over your existing shop style floor jack.

If you can't read the print PM me your email and I can send it to you. It's out of an old Chiltons manual.
