Hell yeah, guys! I love this car and I don't know about the numbers even. You know what is so much fun? I've been dreaming and rambling about getting a mustang for a couple years now to all my friends, and now that I finally got one, I've been having some fun surprising them as I drive up in one! It really is an amazing time. I hope this initial euphoria doesn't go away anytime soon. This weekend I'm gonna tackle some of the things on my list. I went to Bel-Kirk Mustang here in seattle and I just today realized how expensive some of these mustang shops can be! I spent $55 on an inspection plate and two bolts, valve cover gaskets, and two plastic bushings for my shifter!
heheh youwill learn fast that $55 IS cheap, now for me, $200 seems cheap for most stuff

You don't have to build/rebuild/restore/whatever all at once, so don't let the cost of a few parts get in the way of the enjoyment. If anything, let the knowledge that parts can be expensive be a suggestion to carefully consider what you're going to do with the car, and to think through each step. Just throwing available money with little thought to how well all the parts will work together - or if they will at all - is itself a recipe for disappointment. That applies to engine/powertrain and suspension mods (that much I am sure of).

I know what you guys mean. I'm holding off on anything for quite a while. I think the only thing I'll do now is go ahead and install the electronic ignition. Speaking of which, I was curious if the ohmage mattered for various Pertronix/coil combos. I've seent hat some have slightly different ohm ratings. I'm thinking you want the lowest, is that right?
