I want a fastback!
You guys are funny. I actually think I can find a decent fastback for 6-8K. With a little work it would be a cherry. I traded my 67 coupe for my 65 fastback in 86 I think. Then in 88 I sold it for $2000[:@]. You little kids may think that was a long time ago, but I can close my eyes and I'm right there.

Valley - I think that you'll have to barn find one. Haven't heard if Dynacorn is going to make a 65/66 fastback but that would be a huge seller for them if they did. The 65/66's have gone through the roof lately and I don't know if you will be able to find one easily - HOWEVER, it doesn't mean that you can't find one. They are still out there you just gotta hunt them down. (I just found a '69 Camaro and a 70 or 71 Challenger that I have to follow up on so you can still find there relics just gotta get lucky...)
I've always loved the fastbacks over all the others - looks like a race car just sitting there. No coupe or 'vertible for me just the fastback. Nothing against them as I have seen some killer coupes and 'verts here on this board but what makes me go ahhhhhhh is the sight of a well put together fastback. One of the sharpest I have ever seen was in a Ford magazine about 6-8 months ago that was a metallic gold/bronze with a 351 in it. Ithink the owner's name was even Shelby...Unreal looking car - just beautiful...drool...drool...

What's funny is that I just so happened to be looking at that same fastback on the Mustang and Fords website earlier today. It's even the same color as my K code, prairie bronze with palomino interior.

Took me a year to find a fastback that I liked and that was int the right price range. I'll never do that again, thing was a mess. Next car I think will be a 68 or 69 vert...............I'll see what the wife thinks
This one sort of fell into my lap. The previous owner retired and moved to Oregon. He took his 63 plastic toy, I got his HP. (It's my first attempt at an attachment in a thread.)
