Lights get bright...

The lights get brighter when I rev the motor. What could be the problem. I replaced the battery as well as the alt...

No problem. The motor revs, turns the alternator faster, which puts out more volts, which makes the lights brigher.

One way to test an alternator: With car off, turn on headlights. Turn on car, lights should get brighter...

On the early models, they had a 55amp (IIRC) alternator, that when idling didn't had a very low output. This was ok because the early models didn't have much of a current draw. When you rev the motor, the alternator output would go up and brighten the headlights.

It's not really a problem, but if you want to fix it..there are ways...(larger alternator, headlight relays,etc.)
