i want to put my car on jacks tonight to get the monte carlo bar to fit. Where EXACTLY do i place the jacks? post pics if you can. it would really help me out! thanks!

Just installed my bar last week, I jacked the car up on the front frame rail just behind the front wheels, helped me by about 3/4", good luck

The beat place is the stock jacking points on the pinch weld 32 inches back of the front wheel. I looked at the original owners manual for my 65.

the monte carlo bar goes up at the top right? so why would u need to jack up the car?

ya like stated.....why would you need to jack it up?

to let the shock towers flex out by removing the stress of them supporting the car

and yes, the manual has the stock jacking point on the rails behind the front wheels as measured from the center point/hub
