the car must be on all four tires on it's own weight. in other words you need a lift.

I met a guy at a Midas shop that does awesome welding. Some of these guys weld all day long. When I need something like that welded, he does it on the side and I just give him little cash. I would give him around $40-50 for welding sub frames in.

you could get 4 of those little ramps and drive it on to that. it might actually be more expensive to do it that way though

+1....it was 50 bucks at a local muffler shop to have mine welded in. Well worth it.

I am actually in the process of making some in auto. I basically used this guide:

http://www.mustangandfords.com/howto...me_connectors/

Made the 2 straight connectors. 2" square tubing @ 48" long. 10" connecting to front framerails, 5 " in the rear. All brackets are cut, underbody of car is prepped. I was planning on installing them in the shop tomorrow, but I decided to sprain my shoulder when I ae sh*t on my mountainbike yesterday. Now I'll have to wait at least a week. I'm a saaad panda.
