Default is there a problem mixing paint types?

I am working on so many fronts with this car, its actually getting fun.
I have been stopping in different paint and body shops, getting info and planing, one guy, actually the closest one to my house, is really helpfull, and is willing to work with me on the paint job.
My question is this.
I am going to take this car back to its original Wimby white, and he has already priced out the PPG base/clear. I am responsable for the interior and door jam paint. and I was planning on painting the interior parts in my garage, but I had planned on using a acrilic enamle.
Will there be any interaction between the two paints?
I am not concerned if there is a slight color difference, I dont think it will be noticable, but never thought about a problem between them where they overlap.

I would ask your local paint shop.

as long as the paint has fully cured then there shouldnt be any problem just make sure you mask the door jabms to prevent overspray from getting in the and making them dull also

+1,,,, 100%

Make sure you catylize that enamal on the jambs, or else it will get destroyed pretty quick by shoe soles etc. This will only add about $30.00 or $40.00to the job, even if you need to buy enough catylist for a whole gallon.
