A steering wheel question
I have a manual steering in my Stang and it has about 20 degrees of free play in it.
How do I take that out (if at all possible )? all bolts are tight no freedoms anywhere in the system.

I have that too. I just have not gotten around to tighening it up yet. 20deg isnot bad for a 40 year old steering system, but it is probably a loose gear mesh in your steering box. You can adjust that by tighting the adjustment screw on the top of the gear box. There will be a jam nut to keep in place that you will need to loosen first. Do not over tighten this screw. You will have problems turning if you do
