Default power steering problem

well im on my second control valve from checker and i still have a power steering problem. i started by replacing my control valve and steering ram with a rebuilt ones. worked great for 40-50 miles than it started to feel like manual steering and pretty much stayed that way so i got another control valve, have power steering but not like the original unit, it feels a bit stiff when i turn from a stop. it turns equal in both directions but not as easy as the old original unit, am i missing something i should be adjusting or something i overlooked.

Default RE: power steering problem

yahooo for me. i finally decided to adjust the control valve, figured the re builder would of set it to factory specs, no. turned it in to 7 lbs. torque and backed it out 1/4 turn, whalla it works great. what a pain.
