ok 68, any FE swap will put you in the hole regardless. those are "truck " engines not car engines, and the fabrication and time you will put into it would be worth it, but it will eat your wallet alive all day and all night. so listen to me very closely and i will save you thousands of dollars. get a boss block stroke it to a 363 with some 205cc heads and a 58 combustion chamber with hyper pistons that allot for high compression and drop that bastard in its place and you will get the same results as a 427 with half the weight and it will destroy maro's vette's and keep up with those damn z06's and vipers. and you will even have gas money left over for the 93 (91 if your on the west coast).
Your calling a 427 (FEEngine)a "truck" engine? Hmmm....didnt know shelby made trucks. [&:]

I would love to have that new boss 302 block. Isn't that thing a diesel grade block? That would be awsome for forced induction.

this may sound stupid, but what is the differance between a boss 302 and a regular 302? also, i don't like stroker motors-no offence to anyone-but i would rather not have to stroke something, i've heard they don't have as long a life as a non-stroked motor. i was watching a vid on youtube of a guys 428 CJ engine and it sounded evil, but i've been looking around and i don't see many performance parts for them. i do however see that alot of parts say they will work for 429-460 would those work on a 428.

I have a 428 CJ collecting dust in the backyard. Want it? It's free if you pay shipping.
