Well heck, I thought you guys should hear this

After calling about 14 shops, getting quotes like 900-2000 bucks, I called the last one - one of the most reliable places in town (thus, I thought it would cost an arm and a leg).

$295, with converter.

I'll be removing my trans now, and taking it up there

thats daym cheap

my guy charges 200$ labor + parts, and yes it is a very good idea to replace the converter

my 2500 dodge cost me 520$ with converter (i blew up the sun shell)

I just blew up the tranny in my 91 explorer this weekend and it is running me between 1200 and 1600 to rebuild.
