I have the ornaments listed in one of my books. Also a friend of mine has them on his car that he bought in 65. I don't think they were on his car when he bought it, but he said that purchased them at the Ford dealer. Here is a photo of the turn signal ornaments they also sold. It would be interesting if this running horse has a "FOMOCO" or "C" partnumberunder it. Let us know and keep it simply because it is very rare. http://mobile.kijiji.com/c-Cars-vehi...QAdIdZ27313000

Hilarious! I was going to guess either original dealer item or JC Whitney.

Looks like I was right!

'67 evil eleanor - you must have a library like mine - or bigger - I used to work for the printing company that contracted with Dobb's Pulications (Mustang Monthly) I have most if not ALL the books that they have printed (Several copies of some) and several issues of the magazine, catalogs from almost everywhere, and all the shop manuals (FORD) for the 1969 model year. I even have a lot of the "Keeping track of 'Vettes" stuff we used to print.

Most all of my books and magazines fit on about a 4' shelve. I still get a kick out looking at the original prices of some the highly prized items that sell well in the hundreds if not thousands today. For a few bucks you could join the "Terlingua Racing Team" and get a membership card and patch. I have seen the patches sell in the hundreds not too long ago.

No doubt! I recently saw a complete original 1969 Shelby console W/ the guages go for as much as the cars themselves sold for new! - It's crazy what some fools will pay for some old stuff!
Yeah, I know, I resemble that remark!
