Default Flexplate ID?

I just got my new 347 stroker which is a 28 oz balance. Iwould like to use the flexplate I have but I have no idea if it is a 28 oz or 50 oz. I do not see any part number on it and I did not know if there is some way to ID it.

Default RE: Flexplate ID?

Checked my 28oz flexplate for my 347 and the only id on it was FP302, that is no help. I measured the counter weight on it and it measures ~3 3/8 inches long and 11/16 inch wide, compared to the 50oz flexplate which measures ~4 1/8 inches long and 7/8 inch wide. Hope this helps. PS: my flexplate is for an AOD, but I would think the counterweight demensions would be similar.
