Default RE: Intake manifold/Carb question

ORIGINAL: sixtysix

I have a stock 289 2v and was looking to upgrade-what do you guys think of a Holley street advenger carb 570 cfm and a with a edelbrock preformance intake?
Any suggestions?
I would later like to change the heads and cam and add headers
I just need a game plan-would hate to buy the wrong parts. ThanksScott
What RPM range do you want the engine to run to? consensus on the forum is that the Wieand is a better manifold. you may want to go to the holley 600 carb ( 150 or 4160) now since the570 will limit you in the high revs.
