RE: Ever do something stupid?
I shot a 10 pennyhead deep through my finger a couple of weeks ago [sm=headbang.gif]Didn't hurt going in or when I pulled it out,but a couple of hours later it was thumping so hard you could almost hear it note to self: use gun as directed not as mobile missile launcher

Been there, done that!!! It sucks! Now I leave the belt on the drill press just loose enough that it will slip when things "bind up".

The worst "working on car" injury I ever got was whena engine hoist collapsed while I was under the car guiding the trans into place. The yoke caught me on the forehead just inside the hairline. 23 stitches. You can only see the scar now that Im begining to recede a little. Oh well, they tell me chicks dig scars!

Sounds like the very wise words of a shop teacher I once had. I guess the idea of chopping up kids fingers didn't appeal to him either!

The most important thing here is; Was the motor or trans hurt from that drop?
