"That keisler kit works out to be about $2000 for the tko-600. seems like a very nice setup to me."
where on the web site do they sell a kit for $2000?

for the tko-600.
I roughly priced out everything the kit comes with, which I would also need. total is 4700.

for me, I'd also have to factor in shipping and duty for each component I'd have to special order. might be less doing it this way.

Hi guys over the past year ive been gathering all the parts needed to convert my automatic to a T-5 and this is what i have so far:
[ul][*]T-5 transmission[*]T-5 Bell Housing[*]T-5 crossmember[*]Modern Driveline Cable clutch kit[*]Fly wheel[*]Clutch[*]Clutch Pedal Assembly[/ul][align=left]I know im missing the slip yoke, transmission insulator, fulcrum and spacer kit.

1. can i use any slip yoke like these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Trans...2em118Q2el1247
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...2em118Q2el1247
or does it have to be like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/65-66...2em118Q2el1247

2. is the transmission insulator needed?

3. If im using the cable clutch assembly do i still need the fulcrum and spacer kit?

thanks guys

I looked, but I did not see a response to question 1.

yea you could use the first two slip yokes, but you will have to shorten it and change your stock u joints.
If you go with the third one, you dont have to do any cutting or changing your u joints

if you havent bought the transmission mount, fulcrum spacer kit, transmission insulator, and slip yoke; there are kits that you can buy and save your self some money.

this is the cheapest ive seen
http://www.laurelmountainmustang.com/index-1024.htm

or you can always check out ebay, i got the kit for 300 including shipping.

good luck!

I will try to buy a kit for the itemsyou mentioned above.

For my 1966 4 speed, I alreadyhave a:
T-5 transmission
T-5 bellhousing
T-5 block plate
T-5 fork
T-5 throw-out bearing
mustangsteve's ball bearing pedal assembly
Diaphram clutch kit installed
5speed OEM style shift ****. I need the '65-'66 OEM style shift lever and boot.

I will be using the T-5, late model, bellhousing and a hydraulic clutch kit actuatorfrom JMC. Therefore, I don't know if I need the fulcrum kit. I believe this is asimiliar question asyour question 3 in the first post.

Do I need the fulcrum spacer kit with a hydraulic clutch?

Then measure driveline, cut if necessary, and balance.

Thanks.

Who ever said you have to rebalance the flywheel is wrong. You said yours is a 65 with a 289 and the flywheel came out of a 66 3speed manual car. The flywheel will bolt right in, no rebalance needed.
