Default BUMMER!!! Tri-y's didnt fit!!!

well i just came from underneath the car because my tri-ys that were delivered today didnt fit. not a big suprise because out of 10 shops i talked to only about half said they would fit with my set-up.(66 fastback-302-power rack&pinion steering-air cond-cable clutch) they actually fit pretty good except that it was resting on top of the rubber boot on the rack&pinion(very close to fitting). which wood be my next best option for long tubes??? i was told Headman Elites wood woork and also someone mentioned hooker super comps. definatly want to go with longtubes.

What engine size and what make rack and pinion?

I have just installed Hookers on my 390 which has a TCP power rack and pinion. As I am redoing the brake
lines I have the rack dropped but will know soon if there are any clearance issues.
