More done on the 65, found some rust....
Knocked out a few more hours on the 65. Got her on the rotisserie and taken down a little more (I was just told her name is Lucille). Upon unbolting the right fender, I found a shocker. Well not actually, but I am surprised at the area that is rusted. Usually its the hat seam that is gone and water goes right thru. Good time to test the Plasma cutter, it wacked right thru it.Now its time to pull out the POR 15. This is the plan of action since the rust is not thru and their is no leakage and the other side is OK. I will treat this area also. http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r...mustang001.jpg

rotisserie in your own shed...I am jealous!
i think my bare metal tear down is still 20 years away. Hopefully keeping the car dry in the mean time will limit further deterioration. I am dreading what I will find under the cowl.

Just curious...is that handy storage for the screwdriver or did you stab the poorunarmed Mustang in anger when you saw the rust. That is a strange way to rust. You wouldn't think the water would be more of a problem at the top. Bottom of the door/fender looks good though. Nice and clean.
