ya thats my coil i have a second spark system from mallory thats only part of it. i cant help you i dont have a vacuum on my carb, and cracks bad mmmk... doesnt look like your heaters hooked up im guessing theres a good reason for that, hope your heater box is still good cause new ones are expensive.

haha i c.. the heater box is under the passenger dash.. and when was the last time it was started up?

haha, you need to get it running.. i try to start my every 2 days.. u need to take it out on the road as it is for a sleeper. o and does it have any rust?

Well it has a dead cylinder, #8, hoping replacing the points will solve that. I've replaced the coil, the solinoid, battery, batter cables, cap, rotor, plugs and wires. I didn't know that you had to do the points to. So thats where I am at now.

ahhh that sucks... hope u drained all the fluid... can u crank the engine with a wrench? or is it stuck.

Ya I've changed the oil and filter....after that no...probably gotta pull the gas tank and replace it. I have a fuel filter before and after the fuel pump.

might want to change the coolant and transfluid also. if its been sitting for a year.

Update: I got the Flame Thrower II the Ignotor II installed. I got a fresh charge on the battery, put some fresh fuel in, attempted to crank it and I get it to try to turn over but no start. I see fuel in the lower filter [before the fuel pump] and fuel in the upper filter [after the fuel pump].

So what is something obvious that I am missing? I do notice that the negative battery terminal going to the block is warm and the wire going from the solenoid to the starter is hot.
