408 running hot (sometimes)

I run a 165 degree thermostat and put the SPAL fan on and no problem sit on 185 degrees in traffic all day and when I cruise above 30 mph it drops to about 180. SPAL is the only fan that I have found whose CFM rating is close to what they say it is.

Thanks for the compliment, mate!

Just put on a mighty demon annular carb today and for some reason its running a bit cooler as well, on the fwy it was under 160 and never got past 180 around town.
