rims?
I have been shopping around getting quotes on having the rims on the Stang refinished.
The rims are original so I don't want to go out and buy some piece of you know what made in China or somewhere.
I got one quote to have the rims dipped that was $200 / rim and another that was $150 / rim.
Does anyone know of some cheaper way to pretty them up?
Basically, a couple of the rims have some peeling of the outer layer and they are getting a little corosion type look to them.
Any hints, ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Just wishing they sold chrome finish in a spray paint can

the repros are really well done... i wouldnt hesitate to purchase a set if i needed them. like i said in another post, i used to work at npd, so i handled many of them. never saw one that wasnt beautiful.
ORIGINAL: SJs 66coupe

i dont think youre rims are orignal.
they look like 15s. the only original rally wheels that came on mustangs were 14x6.
and i agree with waffles, the repro 15x7 rallys are beautiful. my dad has em on his 66 with the white lettered tires. amazing.
but if your rims ARE original 14x6 i say get the 15x7 anyway.
