Default head installation - ughh

ugh so today i was working on installing my new edelbrock heads and ugh.. i'm so freaking mad. i was putting em on and everything lined up correctly. the headbolts went in without a hitch, the new rocker arms went on perfectly, all the preload was perfect, everything was perfect. WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!?! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

ha anyway - anyone else so used to something going wrong that when everything goes right you still get angry at it because you just WANT something to happen due to habit?

I wouldn't know it's never happened to me.

I estimate time, money and frustration. Then I double it and usally come close.

Good heads should be bolt on. My heads and intake actually are.

how much ptv clearance you have? mine was minimal so i have to be careful and stay away from 6k rpms cause i didnt cut my pistons.

ptv is fine - there shouldn't be any issues up to 6500 rpm - i rev to 6000 constantly at the track with the GT40P's which had 1.84 intake valves. - plenty of people run larger valves then that on stockies and have no problems burning past 6000. - i just wont have use for going over 6k as my power dies out around there anyway. it was weird looking at the heads, both intake valves look the same 1.90 vs 1.84 but the exhaust was nuts going from 1.45 to 1.60 - hopefully the power increase will be worth the 1200.00 if not, they'll be for sale jk
