How much refrigerant does a stock a/c system in a 1969 mustang hold? Thanks.

I do not know the actual volume but there are machines that help with filling systems and are specific for the type of refrigerant (R134a vs R12... I believe).

Stock system shoud hold about 2.5 pounds of R12. I think about the same for R134 if you make the change over due to the rather HIGH cost of R12.
