Default caliper paint?

Just de-rusted my disk calipers using evapo-rust (stuff work freakin great). Is there special paint I need for them? I assumed high heat engine paint would be ok, also do I need to prime before I paint or does it not really make a difference?

I used do high speed expensive stuff (dont remember the brand) on mu 06 and my friends used duplicolor for 20 bucks, well the cheap stuff holds up much better, no primer is needed, just make sure your calipers are super clean

I bought the Dupli-Color kit from Checker Auto Parts, Autozone also carries it. I bought the red and they also sell yellow and silver and perhaps others. It came with caliper cleaning spray and I was using new calipers so it was easy, just follow the directions for putting on the coats.

YOur other option would be to powder coat, I did that on the Vette and it looks awesome.

Thanks 71, didn't realize there was a kit for these kind of things, I'll probably go with the red as well, the calipers are pretty clean but I guess the wd40 I sprayed to prevent rust wouldnt agree with the paint well... cleaning spray it is
