Default New project in my stable!

I Walked into a boat yard yesterday looking for a boat trailer. I walked out a hour later with a mustang title ready to be transferred to my name. The car was just sitting there and rotting away, I thought I would give it some love. It is a 1964 coupe with a 260 and aiuto trans. The driveline is out of the car for now. I plan on restoring it to all original.

Hey it's a Flinstone Mobile!

That should keep you busy for a while. Any thoughts as to what you'll do (ie stock, custom, modified)?

Nice score! But with virtually no floors, be very careful opening both doors at the same time... I've seen cars like this break right in half!

nice. reminds me of my 69 a little, i got it with no driverside floor and an engine that wouldnt run, plus it was completely covered in rust. But bringing these baby's back to life is too fun not to do. Good luck man.

Ohhhhh! Doggies.....talking about some serious rust problems. But if you are a fabricator and can weld.....you have what appears not only a challenge, but some fun times ahead accomplishing bringing a classic 64 back to life. Geterdun.

I assume you paid less than 20 grand for that

Congrats on the project! Bringing that back to original will be quite a chore.

BTW. Why is this post over 200 feet wide?

The size of the pics make the size of the words longer.
