You really ought to do some research on Texas A&M (Agrigulture and Mechanical) college. They have a super mechanical engineering department, but they were best known throughout Texas as the agricultural colllege of Texas. Therefore, the term "Farmers."

 

Actually, I'm studying Mech. Engineering right now. Im a sophmore, just trying to get through. My plan is to do this for a while. But whatI really want to do is go to Detroit and there's an awesome school there that specifys only on automotive design. But A&M is an awesome mech. school. Im going to have to agree with you there. Austin nowadays, is just to weird, I wanted to get out of College Station, and the equivalent to A&M, was T.U., but I went up there for the weekend, and there was too much...creepy crap going on. When they say Austin is liberal, they mean it. I grew up in a conservative community, and it was too much for me to handle, even on a single weekend.
