I seem to have a proplem with my 66 coupes auto transmission. It works fine, but if I try to fill the trans to the mark on the stick it pukes about a quart out of the vent pipe, plus the fluid looks foamy after running. when the car is not running the fluid level is right on the stick. Am I missing something? anyone have any ideas. Thx Mark

 

the car has to be running to check the fluid level, you should be using type F transmission fluid

 

thx, I get it that the fluid is suppose to be checked while running, it says that on the stick, the problem I need help with is when i fill it to the full level it leaks out the breather when i shut the engine off. any other suggestions? Mark
