Thumbs down 69 Convertible Rebuild

Hey guys I am interested in taking my '69 to the next level and completely redoing it. It has the original inline 6 in it, but i wanna put a 351W in it. I know this is gonna be a pretty expensive project. when all is said and done id like to hit around 350-400 hp and roughly close on torque numbers. I have never done a rebuild before and am looking to make this one good. Is there any suggestions on where to start? Should I buy a newer motor or try to find on used? Stuck and need help starting this whole thing.

Thanks,
Aaron

Just get a Ford Racing crate engine. You'll have enough on your plate, it'll be one less thing to worry about.
