sort of. It came in pieces. I am going to take the housing to have it blasted and then I will paint it. What gearing should I be running with this with a t5 and twin turbos? How do I tell what 3rd member came with it? The perches that are on the Versailles rear end look to be in about the same location as the ones on my 8 in that came out of the car. Is this correct?
Forgot to mention motor is a 289.

nice :-)
if you are talking about the gearing (ratio) just count the teeth on gear and pinion. or what do you mean exactly?

I'm very happy with my 3.5:1 gears behind my T5 and 25.6" tall wheels. but i drive a lot at 60-80mph. if you have the thing only out to rip out the tarmac downtown I'd choose different (i had a stock 289 before. same ok)

It it is a Lincoln rear, like I have, ditch the brakes before you start working on rebuilding them. They suck and I can't get the ebrake to work. I am about to install cobra rear brakes from Mustangsteve.com on my car. As far as rear gears go with a turbo car IIRC some guys are running 3.25 gears and feel they are perfect. As you may know I am running 3.70's and the tranny you have is my old one. Those gears were way to low for that tranny. I had to change gears before I even left the intersection at a stop light.

I have basically the same setup as Kalli does. I think its about perfect. I have 3.50 gears too.

I don't think you want to go with a really steep gear especially with a turbo setup.

I just posted a bunch of new versailles stuff for sale (not cheap chinese stuff) I bought it all about 7 yrs ago and I thought I accidently threw out the parking brake brackets so I bought all the stuff to do a cobra conversion, I found all the "missing parts" over the weekend while cleaning my garage........if your sticking with the versailles stuff I might have what you need. If you want to do the cobra conversion, currie makes clockable conversion brackets for 149.00, PBC rotors for cobra are 22.00 each at autoparts warehouse, and I got brand new ford racing cobra calipers with mounting brackets for 198.00.
