now that i have the ignition tackled i figured carb is next, so i shoved the lm-1/lambda up my cars **** and sure as hell I'm pig rich due to me thinking that a 56 stock jet on the 570cfm street avenger is not gonna be enough for my kind of engine. so before i put the carb on i'll put a 62 size in. i shouldn't have ...
i'm rich in cruise, accelleration and WOT. at the 12-12.5 area. i want around 13.5-14, my guess is 56 back in or maybe 58.
anyone know how many jet sizes 1.5AFR is? so i don't have to do it 3 times?

kalli do you know what the motor is pulling for vacumn? remember your power valve should be 2# lower than your vacumn reading or else the power valve will be partially open at idle causing a big rich condition. if your motor pulls 12" vacumn then a9.5pv will be good. if its pulling 9" then you need a 6.5pv etc this is EXTREMELY important!. changing main jets will not cure a rich condiiton at idle.

i'm quite sure that it is the primary jet, as i once had that same carb on without changing jets. i was just afraid to run lean, that's why i changed (to be safe).
i had
constant lean problems due to crappy fuel pump and accellerator pump cam. so i said i start a tad rich and go from there. didn't know it would go so bad :-).
i'll change them tomorrow night and re-measure
