Question 8 inch rear end swap

Im restoring my 66 coupe and put a 302 in replacing the inline 6 it had previously. I got a maverick 8 inch rear end to put in and am wondering if there is any thing i will need to get to be able to just bolt it in? Thanks

The Maverick/Comet rears are 3/4 inch narrower than the stock rear but the spring perches are the wame width so that will not be a problem. The tube size on the maverick rear is bigger than the 65/66 tube so you will need bigger Ubolts and shock plates. You can use the Ubolts and shock plates from a 67-70 mustang.
