still wont start
I'm pretty peeved at the car right now. hasn't ran in, ohhhh almost a year now. I've spent a lot of time researching how to try to get it going again. I've replaced most of the wiring, the starter, the selonoid, battery cables, the battery is reading full...everything. i finnaly roll it out of my garage today to fire her up...and..NOTHING.....not even a click. the selonoid has zero miles on it but it does have burns on it from when i was installing it and accidently touched the battery cable to it and made a lt of sparks. not sure if that can kill a selonoid....the only thing left that i can even think of that might have caused it is a fuse. could it really be that small of a problem perhaps?
I've spent months and a few hundred dollars waiting for the day she rumbles again.

You need a $2 test light or a $10 volt meter so you can verify what is and is not getting voltage otherwise you're just guessing and throwing money at it. I doubt you fried the solenoid by arcing off it, if you hooked it up backwards to the batt. completely you could probably fry it but I doubt on a grounding tap.
Start with the test light on the solenoid connection coming from the batt. and then go from there, with the key on juice should flow to the other side of the solenoid to send 12V to the starter, etc. up to the ignition switch.
Here's the wiring diagrams, follow the wires to see that you are getting voltage at every point that needs it:

Sorry to say you probably replaced a lot of stuff you don't need, but at least it's all new now.
There are 4 terminals on the solenoid. The large one on the front is the battery connection. Next a small one, the starter wire from the ignition switch. Next another small one, for power out to the coil during starting. Last another big one, for power out to the starter.
There are often a bunch of accessory and charging system terminals connected to the battery side as well.
If all these are correct, try again. If nothing happens, MAKE SURE THE CAR IS NOT IN GEAR, and slide a small screwdriver across the small starter terminal and large battery terminal to connect them very temporarily. Let us know what happens.

you sure the ignition switch is in working order? I remember I didn't completely install mine when I was putting the motor in last year... had to push in and turn or else it wouldn't make contact inside the cylinder somehow and nothing would happen... new retainer and it fired.
no way...I just realized....the little hook ups on the selonoid are totally bad and have awful fit, I'm not even sure if they were hooked up...those go to the ignition? I htought they were part of the headlight harness.
