Default front marker lights?

Is there a way to add blinkers to the front marker on a 68 coupe?

Sure- Gut the socket from the housing, and add the socket and pigtail for an 1157 bulb, and splice it into the wiring harness. Why, though?

The turn signal on the front is highly visible, because, unlike modern cars, it is not part of the headlight housing, it's completely separate. If you want greater visibility than that, use a white bulb instead of a yellow one, and if you REALLY want to blow people away, use an LED turn signal.

My 67 had 68 fenders so I wired the markers into the front turn signals and used the same marker wiring and a yello bulb. I liked it becasue cars beside me on the highway could see that I wanted to change lanes. I really like it and it was not that hard to do.

I'm not sold on the LED bulbs. They don't seem to provide uniform illumination in exterior lights or the instrument panel. When they are used in tail lights etc they seam to only produce light straight back and not to the sides at all.

I would also like to ask why you want to do this. Since they are on with the parking lights or headlights, you would want to make them flash opposite of the turn signals like the GM trucks.

Thanks for the input, ill try both options. as for why? better visability while driving in the city, i know there low and most probably wont see them in am attempt to change lanes but its worth a shot.
