69mach, The FI system consists of a gt40 lower intake with a al boxed upper. If I remember correctly he had a mass air meter on it like it was a 89-93 mustang. The tank was sumped and had a big red fuel pump next to it and braided lines up to the red fuel rails. The plates he has on it are from a company pricemotorsport.com. The make the plates that go from 2v cleveland heads to windsor intake.
MBDiagMan, I agree that the motor is probably just fine but I'm worried that the rings are not great or the gaskets aren't. I'm planning to put a blower on it almost immediately and don't want the thing to blow up. The machine shop was recommended and they told me it would only be about 2-300 to tear it apart and put back considering nothing is wrong. I'm also going to barter a little to bring the price down, I have a 351m and a 302 block that they will take. Plus I need them to change the oil pan and pick up.

Okay, adapter plates, gotcha. FI may keep it more streetable and controlable overall. I've alway wanted to go from carb to FI but can't justify $2500+ for a once a week driver. Mine has the dual plane intake that allows 2v C heads on a W block.
