Default water pump test.

So ,
I had a fun day. Drove to the beach and broke down. Had a clogged fuel filter. Took a cab to napa and picked one up (95 bucks for the cab ride). Came back to the beach and installed it. Drove home. Was on the hwy and started running hot at 6 miles at 65MPH. Got off the hwy and took some back roads. 2 miles from the crib and stalls again. The filter is clogged again??? Stabed the filter and crossed my fingers. Quarter mile from das haus and again stalled. Started jabbing at the fuel filter. Ahh made it home. Took the filter apart and had rust dust. No body for miles have a fuel filter so rigged up a tempy to get me by. I did this rig to check the pump. Would you guys con´sider this a high flow pump?

i#m with rmodel. i'd say your tank is full of crap.
as for your waterpump test. it will only put out what you shove in from the other side.
further you have the upper hose at thermostat. if the car is cold no water will come out up there. invalid test

Hey fellas,
Thanks for all the comments. The Rig was to rinse all debris from the cooling system. When I started it appeared to be soapy in nature. The Idea of the big hose at the tstat was to never recirculate anything that came out the motor. At the same time the drain on the radiator was oipen. So i was pumping clean water for 45 min.

If you look closely at the video, I ran a clear fuel filter with pressure gauge. I got to post another video of this. I think I may be suffering vapor lock. As I hold the filter vertical it shows bubbles. Sometimes it full sometimes its not.

When I broke down. I took the carb apart thinking the bowl was stuck. The bowl was bone dry. I had a pressure gauge installed and I was reading 5 psi. just befor the filter. I tapped the filter and debris came out. The second filter wasnt easy to blow on either. The tank seems realitively new, and the third filter is spotless. I drained the thank a month ago to replace the fuel gauge. Maybe I picked up some stuff.

For the first time, the coolant isnt going to the overflow bottle. Its staying put.

when the fuel bowl is bone dry even after you have 5psi of fuel pressue I'd say as well the float is stick. clean the whole lot out good and proper. nothing worse than debris in a carb
