Default Just a couple questions

I have a few 289s laying around collecting dust along with some 9 inch rears. I was wondering what these are going for these days. They would need rebuilt as they have been sitting awhile. thanks

good news and bad news... bad news is at least around here, rebuildable core 289 motors don't get much at all. I don't know what since the 289 is a very under rated motor imho. The hipos would be the exception to that as alot of folks are interested in those... the good news is 9" ford rears are very popular around here.

If the 289's are five bolt blocks they would be more valuable to those restoring an early Mustang or other early Ford. Unless they're trashed the nine inch rear ends are a sought after item these days.
