Even after seeing the pictures of the emblems temporarily in place, I'm still not a fan of them. If your going to use them, I think they would look better down low where the factory badges were.

The badge is at least 1" too high right now. Once I get it all put back together again I will try and get them lined up. I took that picture will the old fenders and hood. Hopefully we will get the new parts painted soon so I can go to town on the engine swap.

Sometime this week I shall be receiving parts to build my own 302. Guy on a local racing forum is giving me almost everything I need for free. So I might actually veer away from the efi and just build a carb 302 with the extra money I would have.

I say do it, a carb'd 302 would be niceeeee. Plus you could get it for much cheaper than an EFI 5.0.

You mean you can return what you've gotten already? Do it while you still can then!

Yeah I bought parts from summit racing and they are real good about taking things in return. Then I bought one thing at autozone that needs to be returned

I'm getting a 302 long block, new crank, new pistons, new rods, and 2 sets of heads tomorrow for just trading my dads rims. Its going to be a good B-day present to me!

The badge isnt going to have that white background is it? I would like to see it without im assuming thats the 3m backing or something... although figured they would cut the sheet in line with the 5.0 rather than have all the excess

Yeah thats just the backing to the 3M tape. The only thing you have to do to them is cut off the alignment studs on the back since they are side specific on the 5.0.
