Good day at the swap meet, got the engine and a complete 86 efi intake setup and a set of valve covers.

Haven't looked at the code yet, but I know its a roller cam block. I only spent $70

What's in the lifter galley, XXX or YYY? You get the cam and lifters to go with it?

no cam, but I got 2 sets of lifters. I will check the lifter galley after work today.

The block has XXX in the galley

Well I got the engine completely disassembled, also found the casting number and found out it is an 87 block. It along with the heads and crank will be taken to a speed shop and be dipped. While they have it they are going to replace my cam bearings and maybe the freeze plugs.
