Default front springs

I can not compress the spring enough to put it back on top of the Upper Arm perch. What should I do? I need to compress at least another 2 inches and even then it'll still be tight.

I have to internal, 4 hook style compressor

Have you compessed it to the point that the coils are touching or is the commpressor just slipping around on you?

The spring compressor you describe is dangerous junk. You need one the sets above the shock tower and draws the spring upward using a disc that can't slip.

Yeah, find the one in the pic, those other ones can do some serious injury to your body. Springs when compressed contain HUGE amounts of force. Say you're installing 620 springs that actually have a 620lb/in rate....if you compress it 2" then it has 1,240lbs of stored energy, compress it 3" and it has nearly 1 ton of stored energy. And that doesn't even include the energy imparted due to velocity when contact is made.
