Default A/C Vents

http://www.mustangmonthly.com/featur.../photo_04.html

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get the rectangular a/c vents that go in the center of the dash console (see link to picture)? My '68 Mustang had them originally but they were replaced by a plain plastic piece when it was restored and the originals were lost?

I've never seen them available at any parts sites, is this something I have to buy used? If so...does anyone know where i can get a set?

Thanks

TMK no one repops the center vents yet, Scott Drake makes the side ones but not the center yet. I found an original one for my '67 on fleabay, took ~6 auctions and a few months before I found one I could afford that was 'buy it now'. I have deluxe alum. interior so I had to heat the camera case stickers off to add my alum. I think the '68's are slightly different than the '67's, I belive the side pieces are thinner?

They are around, it's the side ones that were hard.

Classic Auto Air and Vintage Air both sell complete systems for the Mustang, including the center vents. Perhaps they'll sell you just the vents? Might be worth the phone call.

Thanks for the help. I was able to buy one from Classic Auto Air. They were willing to sell the vents seperate from the entire kit.
