Default brake lights don't work!!

Hi, I am getting my car ready for the 5spd install, and noticed that my brake lights stopped working. I removed the entire console, that pretty much it. Every other light still works, signal lights, park lights, not sure what to look for. Thanks for the help.

find the switch that is above the brake pedal. It has two wires that run to it. On a 66 they are green in color. I suspect one of the wires is broken. Find them and give them a pull see if one falls off.

Again this switch is most of the way up the brake pedal arm probably level with the bottom of the dash. It is a rectangle box looking thing

Check for power into the switch, and out of the switch.

BTW, why did you remove the console to install a T5?

Thought it would be easier, and i had to modify it to fit the 4spd shifter plate.
