Default Convertible Top Boot - Not impressed

Am I the only one who is not impressed with how the convertible top boot goes on a 72? Don't know how the pre-71s install but the 72 is a pain. It takes me more minutes than I care to spend trying to tuck everything in, only to have it pop out in another place. I'm half-tempted to install snaps.

They're supposed to be a little on the tight side. Was it hot or cold when you put it on?

warm sunny day. it fits pretty snug, but i think the plastic lip that tucks under the trim is not long enough, especially around the corners. the back corner on the passenger side never stays tucked in.

I've seen that on factory boots on Fox-body Mustangs.
