I posted a link of a 70 with a 315 that IMO you could squeeze on a 67/8 as long as you were running a rear centering device (panhard/watts).

I run a simple 275 40 on the back of my 68 on the street because I could bolt it on with no fender issues, no rubbing at all, and have a safe combo

Your right it's not easy. I couldn't tell what size a 275 40 17 is equal to in a 20in", diameter wise. That car is bad ***. I'd love to be able to put air bag set up on mine. Haven't even looked into it. Looks to exspensive for me.
