leaf spring relocation on 67 stang
I run a 3 link setup on my 65 with stock wheel wells. With it I could mini tub it and probably gain another 1/2 over a standard mini-tub because of how my brackets attach...but I don't need to...I fit a 275 drag radial for the track and it already runs faster than I wanted it too at 11.4
Getting the rear suspension to work properly is also IMO more involved that piecing parts together from jegs/summit...there are several manufactures out there of quality 3 and 4 link setups.
I run the largest you can put on a 65 at the track which is a 275 40 17

I posted a link of a 70 with a 315 that IMO you could squeeze on a 67/8 as long as you were running a rear centering device (panhard/watts).
I run a simple 275 40 on the back of my 68 on the street because I could bolt it on with no fender issues, no rubbing at all, and have a safe combo

Here is a car that I think is what you want to do.
Has details on the suspension as well in the thread body.

i think this car is bad ***, but if it what your looking for, its nowhere near "easy" to do if you really dont have basic experience in tire sizes
