Default 1972 wheels question

Hey guys I bought a 1972 Mustang coupe for my wife today...I noticed that the mach 1's seem to either sit lower or the tires fill the wheel wells a lot better than pictures I have seen of coupes...Anyways I want a rim that will fill the wells ups..What you would you guys suggest? Tire size and rim size.. The local tire shop is trying to sell me 15x7 but I'm affraid they will be to small...Also do I need to lower the car to get the mach 1 stance...

The Mach 1 has a different ride height then the coupe though doesn't it? Also what size tire are you running?

On the 71-73 cars they only had 3 different springs inline 6 small block and big block springs. If the ones you seen look lower its either its been lowered or its got factory springs that have sagged over the years.

Think some of it has to do with alot of the cars that look like they have a tire filling out the well are running smaller width and taller side wall.
